Special Olympics Nevada (SONV) will partner with Findlay Chevrolet to host the ‘Cops & Burgers’ fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 19.
‘Cops & Burgers’ will feature members of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department volunteering to grill and serve lunch for the community. The lunch, which will include a hamburger, chips and drink, will be offered free of charge with a suggested donation to Special Olympics. The event will also include music, a static parade of law enforcement and fire vehicles, and appearances by the Las Vegas Lights and Vegas Golden Knights.
In addition to hosting ‘Cops & Burgers,’ Findlay Chevrolet will support Special Olympics during the month leading up to the event with a give-back campaign. For every first responder that visits the dealership and adds their signature (or other art) to the in-store mural, Findlay will donate $5 to Special Olympics.
‘Cops & Burgers’ will be hosted at Findlay Chevrolet, located at 6800 S. Torrey Pines Dr., and is supported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. More information is available at www.SONV.org/CopsBurgersLV.
