Illusionist Dirk Arthur Brings Good Luck to Students of The Hebrew Academy

2010 is the Year of the Tiger on the Chinese calendar, and it’s said that touching a tiger’s tail will bring one good luck. Xtreme Magic Illusionist Dirk Arthur hopes to start the year off with luck for the students of the Hebrew Academy, grades K through 12, by providing them with the rare opportunity to touch a tiger’s tail – and, not just any tiger, but Saber, the rare white Bengal tiger cub.

White tigers are extinct in the wild since the early ’60s. Today, they are only found in captivity of which it is estimated that there are only 500 to 600 surviving. Arthur, has the largest exotic cat habitat in the world and Saber makes number five for white tigers at his home. Saber will be 3 months old when he meets the children and will weigh about 12 to 15 pounds.

Arthur and Saber will be visiting additional schools in the next few weeks.
