GIADA at The Cromwell Celebrates Five Successful Years with $5 Bites and a New Tasting Menu
More than 1 million guests. 82,000 signature Lemon Spaghettis. 55,000 lemon ricotta cookies. These are just some of the impressive feats acclaimed chef, restaurateur, Emmy Award-winning television personality and New York Times best-selling author, Giada De Laurentiis’ first restaurant, GIADA at The Cromwell, has achieved over the past five years.

To celebrate, for the month of June, GIADA will feature $5 aperitivo bites and a new tasting menu with a portion of proceeds benefitting Green Our Planet, America’s largest school garden program.

“On behalf of our entire GIADA and Cromwell team, it has been an honor to work alongside icon Chef Giada De Laurentiis to bring her first restaurant to the Las Vegas Strip,” said Regional President of The Cromwell Eileen Moore. “We are so thrilled to celebrate the fifth anniversary of one of the most popular restaurants in the world!”

For a limited-time, guests can partake in the Italian tradition with a five-year aperitivo hour in the bar and lounge area of the award-winning restaurant. For $5 each, enjoy pecorino crostini  with honey, lemon and pink peppercorn; marinated olives with herbs and citrus; sweet soppressata, a pork salami with garlic and pepper; caponata with crostini; pecorino toscano brulee’d and lavash; and sip on a refreshing Frosé. Available daily from 4-6 p.m. in the bar and lounge only.

The new five-year anniversary tasting menu includes a family-style antipasti platter with De Laurentiis’ favorites. For the second course guests can select Fettuccini with lobster, bacon, creamy pomodoro and fresh herbs; the famous vegetarian rigatoni Bolognese; or Bucatini with Calabrian chili pomodoro and fresh ricotta. The third course includes the option of Italian fried chicken Cacciatore style; halibut with beets, prosecco butter sauce and marinated fennel; or bone in filet with potato gnocchi, royal trumpet mushrooms and almond gremolata; all served with lemon smashed potatoes and sweet corn with spicy sausage. Ending on a sweet note, guests can select from the famed dolce dessert cart. The menu is available for $120 per person with a portion of proceeds benefitting Green Our Planet.

De Laurentiis is passionate about many things, but access to fresh ingredients and the understanding of the importance of fruits and vegetables at a young age are one of them. Like she does in Baltimore, where her restaurant GDL Italian by Giada at Horseshoe Casino Baltimore is located, De Laurentiis recently became involved in Southern Nevada’s school garden program, Green Our Planet, which operates more than 150 school gardens throughout the Clark Country School District.


Over the past five years, GIADA at The Cromwell has achieved numerous awards and accolades, including Wine Specator’s Best of Award of Excellence since 2016; Best Brunch, Best View and Best Italian by Las Vegas Review-Journal’s annual Best Of Las Vegas awards; Open Table Diners’ Choice Winner; and more.
