Reigning UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones will bring his official post-fight party back to On The Record Speakeasy and Club at Park MGM in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 6 after defending his belt against Thiago Santos in the main event of UFC 239 at T-Mobile Arena (Photo credit: Tony Tran).
After retaining his UFC title on March 2, Jones received a champion’s welcome at On The Record where he
celebrated until the wee hours, capping off his party doing singalongs with friends and fans in one of the venue’s hidden karaoke rooms.
“On The Record sure knows how to throw a great party,” said Jones. “And after my last victory bash, I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather celebrate.”
“Jon Jones may well be the greatest fighter of all time,” said Sean Christie, President of Events and Nightlife for MGM Resorts International. “On The Record is honored to host his after-party again and looks forward to his fans celebrating with him after another decisive victory.”
The current and two-time undisputed UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Jones won his first UFC Light Heavyweight Championship in March 2011, becoming the youngest champion since the UFC instituted weight classes. He holds many UFC records in the weight division, including the most successful and consecutive title defenses, the most wins, the longest win streak and the most submission victories.
