Latin Superstar Daddy Yankee To Take the Stage at The Chelsea Inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Sept. 13
In celebration of Mexican Independence Day weekend, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will welcome Latin superstar Daddy Yankee to The Chelsea stage on Friday, Sept. 13.

Named one of the most influential Hispanics globally by CNN and Time Magazine, Daddy Yankee ‘s successful career has included more than 11 million albums sold, the launch of various products under his brand, collaborations with several artists from different genres and the second highest grossing world tour in 2014 following the Rolling Stones.

From the start of his career through his current hit “Dura,” he has created songs that captivate world-wide audiences. With an impressive track record of global smashes within the last 20 years, the international music icon, whose greatest hits include “Gasolina,” “Shaky Shaky,” and “Despacito – Remix,” has surpassed 44 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Daddy Yankee has charted more than 50 hits on the Billboard charts and is the only Latin artist to chart four songs in Spanish on the Top 20 of  Billboard’s Hot 100 charts.

A dominant force in the world of Reggaeton, Daddy Yankee’s accolades have continued throughout his multi-decade long career. He broke records with his collaboration with Luis Fonsi on “Despacito” which was certified as the most watched video in YouTube history. In 2018, global smash “Dura” reached #1 on airplay in more than 19 countries, surpassing over 1.3 billion views and has won over 21 platinum albums in the United States alone. In 2018, Daddy Yankee also received the Icon Music Award by the Latin American Music Awards for his contribution to the music and the community.
