Known as “Las Vegas’ First Lady of Jazz,” critically acclaimed vocalist Michelle Johnson offers a delightful and inspiring evening in her new show, Salute to the Great Singer-Songwriters, which pays tribute to the music of Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Kenny Loggins, Bob Dylan, Carole King, Billy Joel, Tracey Chapman, and many more.

Michelle Johnson’s soaring vocals, versatile repertoire, and ability to engage an audience in a dynamic, personal, and intimate way have made her a favorite at The Smith Center and in cabarets and performing arts centers across the country. Michelle has performed on Broadway and appeared, toured or recorded with legendary artists including Gladys Knight, Paul McCartney, Barbra Streisand, and Elton John. In addition, she has starred in and executive produced sold-out shows in Las Vegas and other cities.

Backed by an incredible band led by outstanding musical director and arranger Jeffrey Neiman, this evening of great music crosses multiple genres and features hit songs we all know and love. The show also features Michelle’s original song “I’m All In,” from her upcoming album, with tracks that will be produced by Grammy winner Kamau Kenyatta (producer for Grammy winner Gregory Porter and others) and producer and Grammy-nominated recording engineer Josh Connolly (Cee Lo, Arian Grande, Santana).

Presented in the intimate setting of Myron’s Cabaret Jazz inside Las Vegas’s Smith Center, Salute to the Great Singer-Songwriters promises to be a wonderful evening featuring music by some of the best-loved singer- songwriters in American music.
