World renowned fine artist Terry Ritter has found a perfect match for her Las Vegas-themed showgirl artwork at the new history-concept Las Vegas Rocks Café at Neonopolis downtown.
When you enter the 4,000-square-foot café and music venue, you see Ritter’s artwork of everywhere, including in the gift shop where many of Ritter’s finest Giclées and greetings cards are available for Las Vegas showgirl lovers. In the café’s main dining room, there is a huge embellished reproduction called “Express Yourself” of a showgirl from the “Folies Bergere” that was custom made for the Las Vegas Rocks Cafe. If you are in the flow of perfect timing, you may even see Ritter there dining on items from the creative Las Vegas-themed menu.
Ritter has emerged as the first artist to really capture the glamour of the Las Vegas showgirls. Having performed herself for many years on Las Vegas stages, she has a personal perspective that no other artist could bring to the subject matter. Ritter’s keen sense of emotion and knowledge of dance provides each painting with the energy and life force experienced by the performer. Ritter’s inner understanding of the moment of expression leaps from the canvas in vibrant colors and priceless poses, and magically touches the viewer.
Ritter has also been commissioned by McCarran International Airport to paint a 50-foot mural for the new international wing opening in 2012. In addition to her mural work, Ritter is a highly sought after artist for commissioned and personalized artwork. Learn more by visiting www.terryritterart.com or facebook.com/terryriterart.
