Las Vegas Monorail Provides Only Strip Transportation During Humana Rock ‘N’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon & ½ Marathon
Once again, the Las Vegas Monorail will be the only Strip transportation option available during the 2019 Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon & ½ Marathon. The Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon & ½ Marathon event gives participants a one-of-a-kind nighttime running experience as the only private event to close Las Vegas Boulevard at night.

The largest event on the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series tour will take place on the Las Vegas Strip at night on Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 16 – 17, 2019.

Year after year, thousands of runners and spectators attend the Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon & ½ Marathon and its four days of events, relying upon the Monorail for getting to and from the start and finish lines of the weekend’s races. The Monorail also has a station at the Las Vegas Convention Center, which is the site of the events three-day Health & Fitness Expo, held on Thursday – Saturday, Nov. 14 – 16.

The race event schedule and locations follow:

Thursday, Nov. 14, 3 – 6 p.m. – Health & Fitness Expo, Las Vegas Convention Center

Friday, Nov. 15, 11 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Health & Fitness Expo, Las Vegas Convention Center

Friday, Nov. 15, TBD – VIP Party*, On The Record, Park MGM

Saturday, Nov. 16, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. – Health & Fitness Expo, Las Vegas Convention Center

Saturday, Nov. 16, 6 p.m. – Rock ‘n’ Roll 5K presented by Brooks, Las Vegas Festival Grounds:

  • Closest Monorail stop for the start and finish line is SAHARA Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.

Saturday, Nov. 16, 7 p.m. – Headliner Concert featuring Kesha, Las Vegas Festival Grounds

Sunday, Nov. 17, 3 p.m. – Start Line Festival, Las Vegas Boulevard between Harmon Ave & Audrie Ln

Sunday, Nov. 17, 3:50 p.m. – Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas 10K, Las Vegas Boulevard at Sahara Las Vegas

Sunday, Nov. 17, 4:30 p.m. – Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon and Half Marathon, Las Vegas Boulevard between Harmon Avenue and Park Avenue:

  • Closest Monorail stop to start line is SAHARA Station.
  • Monorail stop for finish line spectator viewing is Harrah’s/The LINQ station.
  • Closest Monorail stop for runner exit is Flamingo/Caesars Palace Station.

Strip closures begin as early as 9 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17. Roads re-open as runners clear, though the finish line section will not re-open until 2 a.m.
