Taking place live from the Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort, this year’s Annual MMA Awards takes place just prior to the start of International Fight Week, giving fans from all corners of the globe the opportunity to attend this star-studded black-tie gala.
“When I started the Fighters Only World MMA Awards 10 years ago, mixed martial arts was on the rise, but where it stands today in the sports landscape is simply hard to believe – and so much of it is due to the fans,” said Rob Hewitt, CEO of Fighters Only Magazine. “Fighters Only created The World MMA Awards for these fans. They get to decide who takes home an Award, who deserves honors for MMA accomplishments, who makes the sport more exciting and who makes it bigger and better. This is a special year for the World MMA Awards, and I look forward to celebrating our 10th Anniversary with the amazing MMA fans around the world.”
The official fan voting website, WorldMMAAwards.com, is set to launch Monday, May 14 at midnight PT and will remain active for fan voting for the next four weeks. Nominees for the 2018 Fighters Only World MMA Awards will be announced soon.

Each year, the stars of MMA walk the red carpet along with many famous names and faces in music, television and film.
Fighters Only designates a panel of MMA industry experts to select the award nominees, and in true MMA tradition, the fans choose winners by casting their votes online at WorldMMAAwards.com. The most anticipated awards include ‘Fighter of the Year’, ‘Knockout of the Year’ and ‘Upset of the Year.’
Tickets for the Fighters Only 10th Annual World MMA Awards go on sale this Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10 a.m. and will be available for purchase at the Pearl Concert Theater box office, any Station Casinos Rewards Center or online at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets start at $55 plus applicable fees.
