Tres…Dos…Uno… fiesta! Morton Group’s funky downtown Mexican eatery, La Comida, located at 100 S. Sixth St, will host a New Year’s Eve celebration featuring special dishes on Tuesday, Dec. 31 (Pictured: La Comida Mexican Surf and Turf).
Executive Chef Mario Garcia will prepare Mexican surf and turf, including a combination of flat iron steak with roasted poblano, ancho chili rubbed chicken breast and salsa verde shrimp with toasted queso fresco, priced at $18. In addition, “The Grinch’s” green tomatillo pozole will also be available, prepared with roasted tomatillo, hominy, chicken, shredded cabbage and radish, priced at $9.
