Shiraz Las Vegas, a Mediterranean and Indian restaurant spearheaded by Executive Chef Jainine Jaffer, is teaming up with Vitalant to offer a blood drive for those who are in need across the Las Vegas Valley. The restaurant stands by their mission to serve the community during these trying times by offering their lot space to recruit donors and collect donations to help patients counting on lifesaving blood, platelets, or AB Elite plasma.

What/When: The blood drive will take place on Fri., Mar. 20, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and again on Sat., Mar. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Shiraz Las Vegas restaurant, located at 2575 S Decatur Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89102.

Why: The blood drive will allow for nonprofits such as Vitalant to aid the community without interruption. There is a severe shortage due to an unprecedented number of drive cancellations during this coronavirus outbreak. Healthy individuals are needed to donate now to help patients counting on lifesaving blood.
