Project Marilyn Donates 10,000 Feminine Hygiene Products To Non-Profits In Need

The goal for Project Marilyn is to help women have dignity with their period. “I’d like for Project Marilyn to be able to #EndPeriodPoverty in Southern Nevada. We put 15 tampons, 5 maxi pads and 5 hygiene wipes in a bag and seal with a Project Marilyn sticker.  Some of the ladies have told me how much it means to them for the products to be delivered in this way. I was just thinking that it was a bag of period supplies but, to some of these women, it’s a gift.  Some of them have been so mistreated that they haven’t had anything for just themselves in a long while.  Even a bag of feminine hygiene products means a lot.  That makes my heart happy and opens my eyes to how essential our mission is. Now more than ever wish to do our part during this COVID-19 pandemic to ensure resources are available to women in need” says, Wendi Schweigart, Founder of Project Marilyn.
