The Stove will resume dine-in service beginning Fri., May 15 based on Governor Sisolak’s directives. The Henderson-based eatery has devised an in-depth plan that will be executed during a week-long staff orientation to ensure a safe environment for their patrons upon reopening.
“Instead of an abrupt re-opening, we have decided to take the next week to abide by the new laws and regulations delegated by the state of Nevada to ensure a safe environment for all of our guests upon their return to The Stove,” said Executive Chef and Part Owner Antonio Nunez. “We are closely following the Southern Nevada Health Department’s guidelines, and have devised a 10-step plan in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s policies, giving our guests peace of mind as soon as they walk through our doors.”
The Stove is taking all of the necessary steps required by government officials to re-open, including requiring staff to wear protective masks and gloves at all times, reducing occupancy by 50%, installing hand sanitizer dispensers at the entrance, wiping down key touch points on a frequent basis, and implementing a temporary reservation-based dining model until returning to full occupancy.
Beyond the standard efforts outlined by the state government, The Stove is implementing a new air filtration system as well as a state-of-the-art disinfectant that binds powerful, germ-killing chlorine atoms on any surface or clothing material. The solution, known as Medecide, will destroy many pathogens including the Coronavirus, and remains active on any surface for up to 28 days.
The main dining room, private dining room and tea room will be split up into three different sanctions, with partitions implemented in certain areas of each of the dining areas. All furniture will be removed from the lobby to avoid congregated wait areas as guests must remain at a safe distance to ensure safety measures. Use of the elevator will be limited to the elderly, disabled, and those with strollers. Restrooms will be closed for 30 minutes each day for sanitization purposes.
In addition to resuming dine-in operations, The Stove will continue to offer curbside pickup and will implement an in-house delivery system. Seniors that take advantage of curbside pickup or delivery will enjoy a buy-one-get-one offer on all entrées, and can take advantage of any specials that were previously implemented in 2020.
