2. Contactless Drive Thru – Food Drive at Serving Our Kids Foundation – August 15, PLEASE join the nonprofit for the Drive-thru Food drive With SOS Radio and JB Public Relations at Serving Our Kids Foundation [facebook.com] (SOK), 8:30am – 11:30am.
SOK is gearing up for the upcoming school year, doubling-down on our promise to serve our kids – we need your help!Pull up to the warehouse for a drive-thru, no-contact food-drive collection. Serving Our Kids estimates there are 8-10,000 kids needing weekend meals, and the number continues to grow. Items needed include ritz crackers, granola bars, cookies, top ramen, juice boxes, applesauce, and ravioli cans. 100% of donations directly benefit our kids. Henderson Equality Center – BackPack Drive Give-A-Way (10am – 2pm) and Open House (6 – 10pm)– The Staff and Board of Directors of the Henderson Equality Center cordially invite guests to attend the Open House, this Saturday, August 15th between 6pm and 10pm, 6250 S Mountain Vista St, Suite L-5 Henderson NV 89014. Get a chance to see and check out the new office and network with others within the community and various organizations.
With Covid-19 guidelines we will be providing guided tours in small groups around the office during the open house. Mask and sanitizer stations will be located throughout the office space. We will have beverages and snacks in our lower lobby. While waiting, you can check out our shirts, mask and yard signs for donations.
