Celebrities at Cirque Du Soleil’s “Viva Elvis” World Premiere

The Elvis Theater at Aria Resort was packed with celebrities on Friday night as Cirque Du Soleil celebrated the premiere of Viva Elvis (Photo: © Erik Kabik/ RETNA/ www.erikkabik.com).

The star-studded opening night included, Priscilla Presley, and Guy Laliberté (founder of Cirque du Soleil), Criss Angel, Justin Long, Neil Patrick Harris, Scott Weiland, Regis Philbin, Carrot Top, Gene Simmons, Perez Hilton, Giuliana Rancic, Andrew Dice Clay, Lo Bosworth, Peter Facinelli, Laurence Fishburne, Wynonna Judd, Ryan Seacrest, Holly Madison and many more.

Viva Elvis is a tribute to the life and music of Elvis Presley. Created in the image of The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll – powerful, sexy, whimsical, truly unique and larger than life – the show highlights an American icon who transformed popular music and whose image embodies the freedom, excitement and turbulence of his era.

Thirty of Elvis’ songs are used in the production, with remixes designed to accentuate and boost the emotional charge of his performances. Elvis’ voice is the only male singing voice in Viva Elvis, joined occasionally by live female singers and an energetic live band. The show opens to the public on February 21.
