CAMCO Creates Safe, Fun Experience for Employees and Their Families With Parking Lot Fall Festival

CAMCO (Complete Association Management Company) of Nevada, which oversees more than 300 HOAs in the Silver State, successfully held a Socially Distant Fall Festival for employees and their families on Friday, November 6, 2020, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the parking lot of its main office at 4775 West Teco Avenue, in Las Vegas

The socially-distant Fall Festival for employees and their families was an opportunity for company team members to gather and celebrate a challenging year safely during the COVID-19 pandemic. The event replaced CAMCO’s regular summer employee appreciation events, often held in conjunction with a Las Vegas Aviators baseball game, which was cancelled this year due to the pandemic.

“Being an essential business, we remained open throughout all the phases of the COVID shutdown. Our team has worked very hard these past months and continued to ensure the communities we manage are kept safe during these unprecedented times,” said Mary Rendina, CAMCO’s marketing director. “We had to cancel our annual family day at the Aviators game, so we thought hosting an outdoor socially distant event would be a fun way to show our gratitude to our team members and their families.”

The fall event adhered to COVID-19 safety precautions, which included:

  • Attendees having their temperature taken upon arrival
  • Keeping all activities outdoors
  • Limiting the number of vendors and attractions
  • Hand sanitizer availability at each activity station
  • Regularly disinfecting activity stations throughout the event
  • A mask mandate for all attendees and vendors

Sponsors chipped in to create fun experiences, too. A taco station was sponsored by Farmers Insurance Patrick Ward Agency; Bilmar Landscape sponsored carnival games; a Planko Board game was sponsored by United Assessment Recovery, and Unforgettable Coatings sponsored Jersey Mike’s kids meals.

“We are excited to participate in this kind of an event that can affect so many children in a positive manner,” said Cameron Clark, president of United Assessment Recovery. “Additionally, we are appreciative of CAMCO for putting on this event during such a challenging time for families.”

Other activities included:

  • Basketball toss
  • Ring toss
  • Cookie decorating
  • Corn Hole
  • Raffle drawings
