Loving Hearts Adoption Services has announced the promotion of Alexandra Hoops to Director of Adoption Services. In her new position, Hoops will continue to work with families and individuals on their journey toward adoption.
Formerly serving as a social worker for the adoption agency since the beginning of its launch in July, Hoops worked to develop and implement adoption plans for all members of the adoption triad, including birth families and parents, adoptive parents and adoptees.
“The Director of Adoption Services position is vital to Loving Hearts’ vision and mission and Alexandra is the perfect fit for the job,” said Albert Chavez, Vice President of Social Services, Loving Hearts Adoption Services. “Alexandra joined the team with an abundance of experience, education and passion for adoption services. I look forward to continue working with Alexandra and seeing the great work she will do to serve our precious clients.”
Hoops is a licensed social worker who holds a Master of Social Work as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She also received an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from the College of Southern Nevada. Prior to working at Loving Hearts, Hoops worked with homeless populations, proving direct services and administrative support.
