Godfather Trilogy (1972-1974-1990)

The Godfather movies are the most iconic and groundbreaking gangster movies yet made. The adaptation of Mario Puzo’s books are titled as The Godfather I-II-III. 

The first story revolves around the cunning Italian Mafia, Don Vito Corleone, named after his village Corleone in Sicily. Don Vito has established his roots in America through a bookmaking business along with pure Italian olive oil. He is greatly feared and respected with the title of Godfather in the mafia world. But things take an uncertain turn when he refuses to involve himself in the drug cartel, which results in the biggest underworld war at the time. 

The end of this war gives the family the chance to choose a new heir, as Vito retires. Michael Corleone, a war hero who vowed to stay away from his father’s illegitimate business, finds himself in his chair. And soon, they branch out into the casino business and spread out their offices in Las Vegas, Nevada, which becomes their permanent home in the sequels. 

Oceans Trilogy (2001 2004-2007)

Spanning out in 4 movies, out of which 3 are suitable if you are looking for a Las Vegas edit. Oceans movies support a huge cast with some leading names like Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, Andy Garcia, and more. The team of 11-13 men plan a massive heist in 3 different Las Vegas Casinos and are quite successful in it. But in the second edition, they are challenged to return the money they have stolen from Terry. In the third and final team heist, they have a lot to lose as one of their own is under threat, and this may be the most dangerous heist they have ever planned to date.

Micky, a university professor, handpicks and trains 5 extraordinary students and utilizes their skills to win at the weekly blackjack game in Las Vegas. Starring Robert De Niro in this epic crime film about a mafia associate who finds himself in the middle of the casino business in the ever-developing Las Vegas. His stressful job brings unruly changes in his relationships with his love-interest and friends. 

Bugsy (1991)

An American biographical drama of the known mobster Bugsy Siegel, one of the first people to begin the gambling business in Las Vegas, Nevada. After he initiates the construction of the Flamingo Hotel and Casinos in Las Vegas, but he finds himself in significant debt after exceeding his $1 million budget due to his extravagant lifestyle and extramarital affair with actress Virginia Hill. 

What Happens in Vegas (2008) 

Las Vegas is a hub of casinos and known for drive-thru weddings with Elvis as the certified minister. Sounds weird, but Joy and Jack came for something else, yet found themselves in bed together after a drunken night, only to realize they got married. But wait, the best is yet to come; they both win a jackpot worth millions, which makes things a bit more tricky in the process of annulment.
