Over 40 years ago, the late entertainer Danny Thomas envisioned a dream that “no child should die in the dawn of life”. He developed a plan and believed that his dream could come true. Today, through a collective effort of physicians, researchers, donors, and volunteers, this dream is becoming a reality. The hospital treats children from Las Vegas, across the United States and around the world at no cost to their families. Supporters of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the Las Vegas and surrounding areas are contributing to Danny’s dream. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, founded by Danny Thomas in 1962, is the world’s leading research center for childhood cancer.
