Connie Francis & Dionne Warwick Shows Draw Record Crowds to Las Vegas Hilton

Eric Floyd’s Grand Divas of Stage starring Connie Francis and Dionne Warwick proved to be a box office bonanza for The Las Vegas Hilton and for the international impresario’s Goddess Empire Entertainment.
Billed as ‘The Concert Of The Century’ by legions of loyal fans who flew in from around the U.S. and the world to bare witness to musical ‘herstory’ in the making, Francis and Warwick did not disappoint, delivering stellar performances and receiving standing ovations from three nights of capacity crowds May 21-23.
Eric Floyd’s Old School Party series scored huge success last summer at the Vegas Hilton with 40 acts over five consecutive nights. His “Grand Divas” series will be once-in-a-lifetime pairings of living legendary femme fatales which Floyd has committed to bring through Las Vegas and to tour world-wide.
Floyd plans on expanding the brand to include a weekly reality TV series, an annual televised awards show, long term Vegas run and world wide tour, calling on celebrated iconic friends like Dame Shirley Bassey, Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle, Aretha Franklin, Grace Jones & his ‘showbiz Mom’ Dionne Warwick, to represent the brand.
Exclaimed Hilton VP of Entertainment & Brand Marketing, Rick White, “I have never seen any production at this property get as much national press, global attention and diehard fan adoration. Eric Floyd is truly onto something here.” White added, “In keeping with a tradition started by Elvis Presley decades ago, Floyd delivered sold out shows with 100% occupancy in the hotel, truly a grand weekend compliments of the Grand Divas.”
Eric states that, “In life we have our Mothers and Grand Mothers, and in show business, we have our Divas and Grand Divas, and having toured and/or worked with legendary femtors like the late, great Lena Horne & Eartha Kitt, as well as Chita Rivera, Iris Chacon, Freda Payne, Linda Hopkins & Dionne through the years in my youth, these women represent the true meaning of the words Grand Diva.”
Floyd added, “Because of their sheer endurance as globally commercially viable concert & recording artists for well over 40 years, they should all be illuminated, elevated & celebrated; and as a Producer, I intend to do just that.”
Opening the Grand Divas show on what was his 25th anniversary (May 21st) was Floyd’s very own 25 million selling, multi-lingual singing, international Pop/Dance diva wife, Wanda Dee. Also sharing praise was their heartthrob Vegas headlining Son, Siameze (The Godson Of Rock & Soul – http://www.goddessempireentertainment.com/siameze.htm)
