Harrah’s Entertainment Las Vegas Resorts Raised Funds for 33,708 Meals for Three Square During 2010 Restaurant Week

Nine Harrah’s Entertainment Las Vegas restaurants participated in this year’s Restaurant Week to benefit Three Square Food Bank. Collectively, the restaurants raised enough profits for 33,708 meals to aid those in Southern Nevada struggling with hunger.

Participating restaurants included Bradley Ogden, Mesa Grill, Rao’s and Serendipity 3 at Caesars Palace; Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris Las Vegas; Strip House at Planet Hollywood; KGB: Kerry’s Gourmet Burgers at Harrah’s Las Vegas; Steakhouse46 at Flamingo Las Vegas; and Martorano’s at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Each restaurant offered special three-course menus for lunch and/or dinner with a portion of each cover donated to Three Square.

Las Vegas Restaurant Week began in 2007 as a way to give locals and tourists the opportunity to support an important cause by dining out. The weeklong celebration of fine dining included more than 90 restaurants this year, from popular mid-level eateries to the city’s premier and celebrity-chef restaurants, all offering pre-fixe meals at special prices. Proceeds from Restaurant Week benefit Three Square Food Bank, established to end hunger in Southern Nevada.
