Nevada Wild Fest features family-oriented activities throughout the day, including carnival rides and attractions, and a fun-filled children’s Fun Zone offering pony rides, face painting, a costume shop and pumpkin patch. This Country-and-Western themed fair will also feature a line dancing gazebo, beer and wine tasting, and at night, live performances by country greats Kenny Rogers, Glenn Campbell, Lonestar and Montgomery Gentry, all within Nevada’s largest outdoor amphitheater. Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton, will serve as the celebrity host for the three-day event.
The country lifestyle would not be complete without hearty home-style cuisine. Live cooking demonstrations by some of Las Vegas’ finest chefs will be held daily in the Food Expo from 11am to 4pm. Celebrity chefs include Rick Moonen of rm seafood at Mandalay Bay and Stephen Hopcraft from Seablue at MGM Grand, both of whom have been featured on the popular Top Chef series on Bravo. Other favorites such as Frank Pellegrino, Jr. of Rao’s at Caesars Palace, Jean Paul Labadie of Marché Bacchus, Kuldeep Singh of Origin India Restaurant & Bar and Jet Tila of Wazuzu at Encore will all be on hand to show audiences how to prepare their twist on favorite country lifestyle or comfort food dishes. Following the demonstrations, chefs will be available for a meet-and-greet where they will take photos, sign autographs and talk food. More chefs will be announced in the coming weeks.
The action-packed lineup also features Kathy Wright, CEO of Frownies and Personal Wellness Skincare lines, and author of Your Health in Your Hands, as she hosts the stage. Guests will also have the opportunity to personally meet and greet with each participating chef. All recipes presented at the festival will be compiled into the Nevada Wild Fest cookbook, dedicated to showcasing the best in country lifestyle and comfort food.
All proceeds from Nevada Wild Fest will benefit The Lili Claire Foundation, which is dedicated to providing hope, answers and improving the lives of children living with neurogenetic birth conditions and creating services to support them and their families.
