Tramps, heroics, bombast and shame populate Insurgo’s Nutcracker series. Last year in Henderson, Insurgo wowed hundreds of spectators with a story about transference and true love. This year we bring the Nutcracker home to the Bastard Theater in a magic-fired personal tale that galvanizes the imaginative potential as a weapon in the battles without and within.
INSURGO: A NUTCRACKER showcases the alien pathos of physical comic sensation Sandy Stein, actress and physical comedienne Breon Jenay, and dancer/choreographer (and bassist for the all female punk rock group The Dirty Panties) Michelle Meyer. The show is presented as a tragicomic clown piece and is suitable for the whole family.
We are offering a canned food initiative for local needy families around Commercial Center. For every can you bring in, we will take one dollar off of your ticket price, up to five per ticket.
