Reggae Rockers Iration to Perform at Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip April 2

Reggae band Iration bring their Fresh Grounds tour to the Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip with special guests HaleAmanO.

Born from a love of music with elements of reggae, rock, pop, and dub, Iration has a truly unique sound, blending keyboard / synth with melodic vocals.  Formed out of various garage band sessions in the small college town Isla Vista, CA, connected to UC Santa Barbara, Iration began by playing backyard parties and local events, quickly graduating to the College scene throughout California.

The band released their first full length album No Time for Rest in 2007 which featured one of the last recorded performances by reggae legend Mikey Dread.  The band embarked on a national tour titled Playboys in Paradise in the spring of ’08 in support of the band Pepper, traveling some 16,000 miles and playing to numerous sold out shows.  Later that year they released a collection of recordings called Sample This, a four song EP which debuted at #3 on iTunes top reggae albums. In March of 2010 Iration released their highly anticipated 3rd album, Time Bomb, which debuted at #2 on Billboard’s reggae album chart.

These five Hawaiian born boys spend much time on the road touring and are a band that is best when experienced live, spreading their original sound and aloha spirit.  The band finished off 2010 with their Lei’d Back national headlining tour, hitting some 30 plus markets.  Wasting no time in 2011, Iration just released their Fresh Grounds EP on Feb. 1, 2011 on iTunes and will be available digitally in stores everywhere online Feb. 8th.
