Drive-By Truckers
Date: Thursday, March 3, at 8 p.m.

Artist Info: Drive By Truckers is an alternative country-rock band comprised of six dynamic musicians. Front man, Patterson Hood, and his group of Southern musicians came together in 1998 with the debut album, Gangstability, quickly followed by the release of Pizza Deliverance in 1999. The band is famed for 2001’s Southern Rock Opera. The double album explored the colorful dimensions of Southern life, culture and music. Southern Rock Opera earned a four-star review in Rolling Stone Magazine and accolades of fans for the band.
By 2004 Drive-By-Truckers had seen several band member transitions and that same year, with a remodeled band, they released Dirty South. The album reflected the grittier side of smaller Southern towns. The line-up was revised once again in 2008 just before Brighter Than Creation’s Dark was released. Today the band is touring the country riding on high from their newly released album Go-Go Boots.

Event Info: Silverton Casino is getting into the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day by hosting the Shamrock Shindig. Guests are invited to take part in the fun-filled evening which features a traditional Irish cabbage and potato eating contest, great music, and extensive drink specials including green Jello shots and Green Bud Light to name a few. Party goers will also have an opportunity to win a free Apple iPhone in the Mr. and Ms. St. Patty’s Day Contest, awarded for being the biggest St. Patty’s enthusiast.
Mardi Gras Brunch
Date: Every Saturday and Sunday through March 6, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Event Info: Silverton Casino is celebrating Mardi Gras with the Mardi Gras brunch. The brunch will feature savory dishes with traditional Cajun and Creole flare. Those who enjoy the brunch can also look forward to $5 New Orleans style Peach Daiquiris, Piña Coladas and Hurricanes.
“You Call It” Pub Crawl
Date: Each Thursday, at 7p.m.
Event Info: Silverton Casino welcomes all of Las Vegas to the “You Call It” Pub Crawl. Every Thursday evening the public is invited to tour the bars and lounges within the Silverton for tall drinks and good times. All beer and liquor, including premium brands, will cost just a dollar. Patrons will visit Mermaid Restaurant & Lounge, Flare Bar, Shad Grove Lounge, and Miss Casa Grill Cantina.
