Bonkerz Comedy Productions is hosting a fundraiser during two of its shows this weekend to help raise funds to assist the community impacted by the recent devastation in Japan. Both shows are headlined by Lukas Seely and Corey Kwak.
Fifty percent of the proceeds from shows will be donated to the American Red Cross towards Japan relief and development.
Lukas Seely regularly performs at top-name comedy clubs in Los Angeles. His stories about his life in the country and city and other life experiences make his performance a knock-out punch. Seely was nominated as an Emerging Comic in the New York Underground Comedy Festival and has also opened for such names as Dane Cook, Ron White and Jeffery Ross, to name a few. In 2010, Lukas performed his standup routine on Showtime’s “Louie Anderson Presents.”
Comedian and writer, Corey Kwak, has gained success from his songs, “I Got Small Equipment” and “North Korealina.” Comedians he has opened for, include Grandma Lee, Kathleen Dunbar, Bruce Mickelson, Dean Napolitano and Ken Rogerson.
