Primm Valley Casino Resorts presents Grammy nominated and renowned contemporary jazz ensemble, The Rippingtons, Saturday, April 9 at 8 p.m. at Buffalo Bill’s Star of the Desert Arena. Before smooth jazz fills the arena, guests are invited to attend a pre-concert mixer including complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres beginning at 7 p.m.
Russ Freeman, founder and leader of the legendary jazz group, takes listeners on a journey across the globe. The Rippingtons’ albums often reflected Freeman’s wanderlust, whether he had actually been to the places within the songs or dreamt of them in musical terms. Each album is inspired by adventures from their travels including Kilimanjaro, Tourist in Paradise, Welcome to the St. James Club, Weekend In Monaco, Live in L.A., Sahara, and Live Across America.
Coming off the release of their latest album, Cote D’Azur, the Rippingtons will bring a fresh sound that will move the audience at Buffalo Bill’s.
