The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Marks Two Year Anniversary with Sold Out Concert by Arcade Fire

The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino celebrates two years as Las Vegas’ premier rock ‘n’ roll venue on Thursday, April 14.

In honor of its two year anniversary, The Joint welcomes indie rock group Arcade Fire with special guest Local Natives. Arcade Fire recently took the music scene by storm when they won “Album of the Year” for their third album The Suburbs at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards. The Montreal-based band has also received other prestigious recognition including the 2011 Juno Award for “Album of the Year,” 2011 Brit Award for “Best International Album,” 2008 Meteor Music Award for “Best International Album,” 2008 Juno Award for “Alternative Album of the Year” and more. The seven-piece band will hit the stage at The Joint for an unforgettable sold out performance beginning at 8 p.m.

Since its ribbon cutting with Carlos Santana, Mayor Oscar Goodman and AEG Live and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino executives on April 14, 2009, The Joint has provided Las Vegas with an intimate and authentic concert experience unlike any other. The state-of-the-art venue has received local as well as national recognition for setting new standards for the live music experience. The Joint was voted “Best New Major Concert Venue” at the 2010 Pollstar Concert Industry Awards, “Best Live Music Venue” in Las Vegas CityLife’s “2010 Best of the Valley” awards, “Best Venue Sightlines” in Las Vegas Weekly’s “2010 Vegas’ Best” awards, “Best Live Music Venue” in AOL City’s Best 2010 Las Vegas awards, “Best Live Music Venue” in KLAS Channel 8’s “Vegas Says” poll and “Best Concert Venue” by readers and staff in Las Vegas Review – Journal’s “2010 Best of Las Vegas” awards.
