Hussong’s Cantina will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with an entertaining fiesta complete with food and drink, the rock n’ roll Mariachi band and The Most Interesting Man in the World Contest with Dos Equis.
Cinco de Mayo festivities will begin at 11 a.m. on May 5 and carry on through the night with The Most Interesting Man in the World Contest kicking off at 7 p.m. The contestants will be judged on their likeness to the famed Dos Equis character, wit and overall charisma, with the winner taking home a $250 cash prize. The second place winner will receive a $150 credit at Hussong’s, with third place earning $100 to spend at the establishment.
Hussong’s will offer drink specials and various items from the authentic Baja style menu to fuel the party. Revelers are certain to sing along to the live rock n’ roll Mariachi band with $3 Dos Equis drafts and margaritas starting at just $5. Hussong’s will also offer flights of tequila for $18.92, commemorating the opening of the iconic Ensenada location 1892. Happy hour priced Nachos will be available all day for only $6, while those seeking hardier fare can feast on the Short Rib Enchiladas ($16).
