Agassi teen member, Austin Stepp served as the emcee for the event. Special guests in attendance were Clark County Commissioner Lawrence Weekly, LVCVA President/CEO and Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas board chair, Rossi Ralenkotter, CEO/President of the B&GCLV Dulcinea Almazan and Terri Janison, director of community relations for the Office of the Governor.

Those in attendance enjoyed a musical performance by Agassi club members which was directed by Community Partner, Broadway in the Hood and listened B&GCLV and Nevada Youth of the Year, Angelena Cook share her story on the impact the clubs have had on her life.

To celebrate, a larger-than-life 50th birthday cake designed by Freed’s Bakery of Las Vegas was presented to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas. Club members not only enjoyed birthday cake, but cotton candy, sno-cones, various games and a BBQ.
