Rev Run celebrated his 47th birthday at TAO’s Worship Thursday. When he arrived fans pulled out their camera phones to get a photo and Rev returned the favor, taking a photo of the crowd to post on Twitter. He joined DJ Ruckus in the booth as they entertained club goers with favorites old and new and had them singing along to his own hits as well as tracks from Jay-Z, Sinatra and House of Pain. Rev even got on the turntables himself to do some scratching.

He was surprised with a cake in the shape of his signature Adidas shell top sneakers and black hat. Daughter Angela tweeted a photo of the cake as her dad partied with wife Justine and his friend R&B artist Tyrese.

Also spotted at TAO was Wayne Newton, who dined with family and friends at the Asian bistro. They enjoyed Kobe Sashimi, Crispy Rice, Lobster Wontons and more.
Jackie Jackson, brother of the late Michael Jackson was also seen dining at TAO.
