Country Star Kenny Chesney Performs at the New Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel

Kenny Chesney made himself at home in The Joint along with 4000 fans who were treated to a marathon nearly 3 hour show on Saturday night. An artist who typically doesn’t “do” cover songs, Chesney pulled out sing-along favorites from artists like U2, John Mellencamp, Alabama and Bob Marley. None of it was on the official set list but spectators said he was having so much fun jamming that he literally played until he finally told the crowd “that’s all I’ve got folks!” Chesney was overheard telling his circle that The Joint is one of the most beautiful venues he has ever played. He loved the fact that it felt more like a bar than a concert hall, and that’s what made them play for so long. He said it felt like the good days when they were just having fun and playing for people who really enjoyed it.

Chesney produced more than thirty Top Ten singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, sixteen of which reached Number One. He’s is the latest popular musician to perform at the Hard Rock Hotel’s $800 million expansion of the Joint, now twice the size of the original venue.
