announced today that Big Time Rush will be hitting the road beginning late February 2012 for the “Better With U Tour.” Fans will be able to see the music and TV sensations, on hiatus from their hit series, as they embark on their first-ever headlining multi-city concert tour performing new songs in support of their album, Elevate, out Nov. 21. Big Time Rush will begin their electrifying tour in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood on Feb. 17. 

Tickets will have a special pre-sale to American Express customers beginning Nov. 11 at 10 a.m., with a general on-sale Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. at or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Fan Cub members will also have an opportunity for pre-sale. The band has also teamed with VIP Nation to provide a variety of VIP ticket packages for the tour, including premium seats, meet and greets, photo ops, parties and more. For more information go to

Elevate is the highly anticipated follow-up to the group’s debut, 2010’s gold-certified BTR, which has scanned over 1 million albums worldwide. To date, Big Time Rush ­ Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena Jr. and Logan Henderson ­ have sold over 3 million combined digital tracks worldwide.

On Saturday, Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), Nickelodeon will premiere, “Big Time Rush: Music Sounds Better With U,” a new half-hour music special that takes a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road with the band and the making of their new album Elevate. The special culminates with the world premiere of the music video, “Music Sounds Better With U.”

Now in its second season, Big Time Rush which follows four best friends from Minnesota who trade in their hockey sticks for music super stardom in Los Angeles — averages 4.1 million total viewers (+9%, over season one). The launch of the hit series on Nickelodeon drew 6.8 million viewers, making it the most watched live-action series premiere in the network’s history.

The group’s social media profile has risen just as quickly, with an online community of almost 400,000 Twitter followers and more than 2.3 million Facebook users.

Special support act One Direction will join Big Time Rush beginning February 24th in Chicago. The biggest UK breakout group of 2011, One Direction is ready to take America by storm supporting Big Time Rush’s 2012 tour. Their debut single “What Makes You Beautiful” became the fastest selling single of 2011 and debuted at #1 in both the UK and Ireland.
