I joined Ashanti and her mother Tina tonight at Planet Hollywood where Ashanti was hosting at Privé Nightclub. Ashanti arrived to a packed nightclub and she and her mother danced and sang along to a great set of music by DJ Franzen. Ashanti then got up and performed a set of music to her adoring fans who snapped photos and crowded in closely around the DJ booth to get a close-up view of her performance. –Erik Kabik
