BJ Thomas to Perform at Santa Fe Station Oct. 10

BJ Thomas has sold more than 70 million records during his four decades as a pop musician. His solo career first took off in 1968 with the hit song “Hooked on a Feeling” from the album On My Way. The following year, he hit number one on the Billboard Top 100 chart with his rendition of “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on my Head” from the film “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.”

Throughout his career, Thomas has earned two platinum records, 11 gold records and won five Grammy awards, among other achievements. Hit songs include “Eyes of a New York Woman,” “Rock and Roll Lullaby,” “I Just Can’t Help Believing” and “(Hey Won’t You Play) Another Somebody Done Something Wrong Song.” Thomas is featured in the recently released movie “Jake’s Corner” and is currently participating in a documentary being filmed on his life and work.
