Grammy Award-winning American Chicano rock band Los Lobos is taking the stage at Veil Pavilion while guests get fired up in the exciting and intimate concert atmosphere.
It’s been three decades since Los Lobos’ debut album Just Another Band from East L.A. hit the shelves of music stores across the country. Influenced by a mix of rock & roll, Tex-Mex, country, folk, R&B, blues, soul and traditional Spanish and Mexican music, Los Lobos has become one of the most highly regarded bands to emerge out of the L.A. scene.
Los Lobos is most recognized for its 1987 remake of Ritchie Valen’s Mexican classic “La Bamba,” which sprung to number one on the charts. Since then, the group has released notable albums such as 1992’s Kiko, 1996’s Colossal Head and 2002’s Good Morning Aztlán, followed by The Town and the City in 2006.
In 2010 they released Tin Can Trust through Shout! Factory. Opening up for bands like U2 and The Clash, Los Lobos has reached out to a larger audience, while staying true to everything the band’s loyal fans expect.
