October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Dos Caminos Mexican Kitchen at The Palazzo is helping to raise awareness and funds with a special promotion that will run throughout the month.
Seventy five percent of proceeds from sales of the Strawberry White Chocolate Bomba, a dessert dish added to the menu in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will be donated to the Nevada Cancer Institute. The sweet offering features a strawberry and white chocolate mousse with a strawberry coulis center on a white chocolate cake base and sells for $10. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to donate additional funds by rounding up their check.
Nevada Cancer Institute is the official cancer institute for the State of Nevada. NVCI is accredited by The Joint Commission and is dedicated patient health care quality and safety. A nonprofit organization, NVCI is committed to reducing the burden of cancer by pursuing the development of a cancer research institute, as defined by the National Cancer Institute. Through the knowledge and expertise of the finest scientists, clinicians, educators and caregivers, the Institute provides hope to communities in Nevada, the southwest and beyond through research, education, early detection, prevention and high quality patient care.
Dos Caminos Las Vegas at The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino can accommodate up to 700 people. The restaurant serves brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends and lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and dinner daily from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. The lounge welcomes guests seven days a week until 1 a.m. with a late night lounge menu offered until midnight.
