Las Vegas Legends to Hold Open Auditions for 2012-2013 Dance Team

Las Vegas Legends professional arena soccer team is auditioning talented, outgoing, well-spoken women for its dance team on July 22 at 10 a.m. This spirited team will entertain fans and help cheer on the newest professional team in Las Vegas. Open auditions will be held at The Beat Dance Academy, located at 1400 N. Rampart Blvd. in Las Vegas.

Candidates for this all-female team must be over 18 years of age and previously trained in hip-hop, contemporary, jazz and ballet styles of dance.

Amanda Sizemore, choreographer for the Las Vegas Legends Dance Team and owner of The Beat Dance Academy, is seeking between 12 and 15 talented, energetic and professional dancers for the 2012-2013 season.

“I am looking forward to building an upbeat, hard-working and dedicated group of dancers for the Legends’ inaugural season,” says Amanda Sizemore. “Fans can expect the team to deliver high energy, technical performances and represent the Las Vegas Legends both at the games and within the community.”

If selected for the team, dancers will be required to attend a minimum of two practices per week and learn a total of ten dance numbers for the season. Practices will begin in September and the regular season concludes in early March. The team will entertain the crowd at a minimum of 10 home games played at The Orleans Arena, with the possibility of traveling and performing at away games.
