The Las Vegas Wranglers
, along with Children’s Hospital of Nevada at UMC, raised a total donation of $8,030 for the hospital from a specialty jersey auction and ticket proceeds from the team’s Jan. 19 game (Pictured: Sixth-grader and former UMC patient Keiontae Williams drops the puck for Children’s Hospital of Nevada – Photo credit: John Bosworth)

For the Wranglers’ 10th “FANniversary” game on Friday, Jan. 19, the team donned themed jerseys featuring a Children’s Hospital of Nevada patch that were auctioned on the arena concourse. Fans purchased the game-worn jerseys for $6,180, and a portion of ticket sales netted an additional $1,850 gifted to the hospital.

“We are very grateful to the Wranglers for this extremely generous donation,” said Lisa Pacheco, RN, BSN Director of Maternal Child Services at Children’s Hospital of Nevada at UMC. “From the team’s visit to Children’s Hospital of Nevada last week, to a great night on the ice, we can feel the heartwarming support for our pediatric patients.”

The Wranglers head east this weekend for a game against the Trenton Titans on Friday, Jan. 25, and two games against the Reading Royals on Jan. 26 and 27. The team returns home for a four-game stretch starting on Wednesday, Jan. 30, against the Bakersfield Condors, and promotions include a post-game concert by alt-country legend Todd Snider on Friday, Feb. 1, and “Over 18 Night” with the world’s first professional topless hockey team on Monday, Feb. 4 at 9:05 p.m.

Celebrating 10 seasons of Wranglers hockey this year, group events are available at all home games, including pre-game ice skating parties, private luxury suites, and rink-side catered party boxes. Groups of ten or more can sit together starting at $13 per ticket, and feature perks such as in-game group recognition and “buy one, get one free” Chuck-A-Puck vouchers.
