The Las Vegas Soul Festival is back and more entertaining than ever. Presented by Lazarex Cancer Foundation, the Las Vegas Soul Festival is April 6 and 7 at 7:15 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center and will highlight the best musicians singing soul, gospel, jazz, hip hop and more (Pictured: Erykah Badu).
The festival will also feature motivational speakers, celebrities, food, and family festivities.
Coined “Super Saturday,” April 6 will be headlined by Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter Erykah Badu, with Joe, SWV, and Lenny Williams rounding out the evening of R&B, hip-hop and jazz.
Multi Grammy Award winning contemporary gospel duo Mary Mary will headline Sunday, April 7. Joining them for an evening of gospel, soul, funk and jazz are Kindred The Family Soul, Marion Meadows, Sheila E, Jonathan Butler, Elan Trotman, Las Vegas United Voices (LUV) a choir made up of over 40 local churches, and Dr. Bobby Jones of the Bobby Jones Gospel on BET.
A portion of the proceeds from the Las Vegas Soul Festival will go to the Lazarex Cancer Foundation which supports all end stage cancer patients and the cancer community by providing assistance with cost for clinical trial participation, navigation through clinical trial options, and community outreach and education.
