Your Guide to Breweries Downtown
Sure, Las Vegas may be known more for its cocktails and expensive nightclub bottle services, but there’s also a well-established craft beer scene that has recently taken over Downtown.
Whatever your taste in beer might be, you’re bound to find a cold one to enjoy at one of these Downtown breweries!
Able Baker Brewing

Able Baker opened its 7,504-square-foot location in the Fall of 2019. Located right off of Wyoming Avenue and a few blocks west of Dino’s, the spacious venue also has a 600-square-foot outdoor patio.
Some of Able Baker’s beers on tap at the 15-Bbl brewhouse include Atomic Duck IPA, Honey Dip Stout, Cherry Berry Bang Bang, Double Dead Duck IPA, Test Site Saison, 5-Pepper Porter, and Chris Kael Impaled ale.
Located inside the brewing is Arts District (AD Kitchen) it serves culinary creations including craft burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, fish tacos, various Banh Mi sandwiches, salads, vegan burgers, nachos, and crispy cauliflower,
Their theme is an ode to the Atomic Age, its name derives from the first two atomic bombs detonated in the Nevada Test Site. The explosions’ were codenamed from the military’s phonetic alphabet, making them “Able” and Baker”. According to legend, a duck was the only animal to survive the tests, the duck is forever known as the Atomic Duck.
Banger Brewing

Located on the ground-floor of Fremont’s Neonopolis since 2013, Banger Brewing is a microbrewery with a tasting room. The brewery was built from the ground up by five childhood friends.
Their 11 house-made taps include: Sandia Watermelon Wheat Fruit Beer, El Heffe (a jalapeno infused hefeweizen), Haze & Loathing IPA (a hoppy hazy IPA packed with a huge punch of pineapple and mango), Morning Joe (a coffee flavored Kölsch), and The Long Knight (an oatmeal stout named after The Golden Knights.
They are currently open, if you make your way to the Fremont East area, make sure to grab a few brews.
Beer District Brewing

Craft beer taproom Beer District Brewing opened on February 29, it is one of the newest additions to downtown’s burgeoning beer district. They had to shut their doors shortly after its debut due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Their location between Hoover and Coolidge, they INSERT d a 4,014-square-foot auto body shop that used to operate there; they also have a 222-square-foot patio.
Located at the north-end of the Arts District, they offer full price beers ($6 range), half pours for $3, and $2 tasters for flights. They have over 20 beers on tap.
CraftHaus Brewing

CraftHaus opened its second taproom in the Arts District last fall. The brewery features 24 taps with 16 devoted to original CraftHaus brews, four guest beers, cider, Vesta Cold Brew coffee on Nitrogen, and white wine.
In addition to drinks, they also offer some bar-food favorites including soft pretzels with beer cheese or beer bacon jam made with CraftHaus beer, as well as dishes from chef James Trees of Esther’s Kitchen, carried across the street.
Hop Nuts Brewing

Located in the heart of the Arts District, Hop Nuts Brewing has been downtown’s go-to spot for IPA’s since it opened in 2015. They have over 20 beers on tap – 15 of which are brewed in-house, and 5 guest taps. They specialize in brewing unique craft beers.
Some of their most popular beers include Green Mamba Double IPA (a West Coast style IPA that comes in at 8% and over 100+ IBU’s), Harry Porter (a full-bodies robust porter), and their newest addition Quarantine Juice Hazy DIPA (an 8% ABV double dry hopped with Mosaic, Ekuanot and Columbus hops. Fruity, Danky and juicy! Dank with notes of mangos, berries, tropical fruits.)
Tenaya Creek Brewery

Founded in 1999, Tenaya Creek is one of the longest standing breweries in the Las Vegas area. Not only can you get their beloved brews out of a draft, but they began bottling their beers in 2010 to keep up with the demand. Their beers can be found in Nevada, Southern California, Arizona, Utah and Canada.
After outgrowing their old space, they opened their new current standing location in 2015. They tripled their brewing capacity, and now have room to produce ten times the volume of their new original location.
Some of their most popular beers include HOP Ride American IPA, Aviator Hoppy Golden Ale, Fruit Punch Berlinerweisse with cherry and pineapple, and Red Ryder Hoppy Red Rye. This Vegas staple also offers a variety of food trucks that come and go to satisfy your hunger.
Nevada Brew Works

Nevada Brew Works is located on the corner of Main Street and Imperial it is owned and operated by a family, the brewers were trained at the world-famous Siebel Institute of Technology.
When you grab a drink at Nevada Brew Works, you’re also supporting a good cause. The owner’s daughter, Ariana Rye was born premature and spent the first four months of her life in the NICU. She was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder. As parents of a child with disabilities, we know the hardships of getting the right care and equipment for your child.
They created the Ariana Rye Foundation to help families in need of medical equipment for their disabled children. For every Ariana RyePA that is sold in the taproom, a portion of the proceeds go to these children in need.
