Whether you’re looking to take your significant other out for an extravagant night out on The Strip or a romantic hike away from the city, there’s no shortage of holiday happenings and deals all across Las Vegas and the surrounding area this weekend.
We’ve compiled a list of holiday specials and ideas to help you plan for the ultimate Valentine’s Day for that special someone in your life.
A Romantic Day Out on the Town
Few places offer as many Valentine’s Day festivities as Las Vegas with its multitude of infamous casino-resorts, dazzling shows, and award-winning restaurants.
If you’re looking for breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip, both The Stratosphere and the High Roller Observation Wheel at the LINQ Promenade are offering Valentine’s Day packages.
Maverick Helicopter tours are also offering complimentary champagne with their tour packages for those seeking even higher views of The Strip.
Other high-end restaurants on The Strip and Downtown are also offering specials holiday-themed prix fix menus specials over the weekend, including Gordon Ramsey Steak, Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse, Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano, and award-winning Chef José Andrés’ Bazaar Meat.
Local deals can also be found around town, including free admission for Vegas residents to the Las Vegas Mob Museum in celebration of its ninth anniversary this Sunday.

Take a Day Trip
Vegas and all of its neon splendor are amazing in their own right, but an abundance of other exciting natural wonders are only a short drive away.
There is no shortage of hiking spots near Vegas. About 30-45 minutes outside of Vegas, lovebirds can explore one of the 36 trails at Red Rock Canyon has to offer. The park also has a 13-mile scenic road loop where you can enjoy the views from inside your car.
Valley of Fire State Park is also another noteworthy hiking area that offers romantic scenery with its breathtaking red Aztec sandstone outcrops. Located about 50 miles north of Vegas, the park also contains ancient, petrified trees and petroglyphs dating back more than 2,000 years.
Boulder City—located about 26 miles southeast of Las Vegas—also makes for a romantic getaway with its picturesque desert scenery and historical architecture dating back to the 1930s. The small town boasts several antique and boutique shops, museums, coffee shops, and dining options including a diner, Latin, and Asian flavors.
Boulder City also offers scenic hiking and biking trails and is only a short car ride away to both Lake Mead Recreational Area and The Hoover Dam.
If you’re looking for a unique holiday experience Rail Explorer’s Las Vegas—located in the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City— is offering pedal-powered railbike Valentine’s Day weekend packages. Packages range from $90-160 for two-four people and will include chocolate lollipops and roses for couples on Valentine’s Day.
Watch a Drive-In Movie
Snappy Burger is a fun throwback to the 1950s drive-in movie experience located in Northwest Las Vegas that plays classic TV shows during the day and full-length feature films at night. There’s no cost to watch films in the parking lot, but guests can purchase burgers, french fries, popcorn, candy, drinks, and even comic books through the venue’s drive-thru.
Located nearby off Rancho Rd and Carey Ave., the Westwind Wind Drive-In offers both new and classic Hollywood titles alike and offers low general admission starting at $8 for adults. The site also offers a concession stand that serves classic movie snacks including popcorn, hotdogs, and candy. The Westwind is showcasing classic romantic movies, including The Notebook and Sleepless in Seattle this weekend.
Tie the Knot
For couples really looking to make Valentine’s Day memorable, don’t forget that Vegas is the “Marriage Capital of the World.” Whether you’re interested in having an Elvis-themed wedding, drive-thru ceremony or you’re looking for something more traditional, Vegas offers a variety of unique wedding packages to help you seal your love forever.
Notably, Caesars Palace, The Flamingo, and A Chapel of Love are all offing Valentine’s Day wedding packages.
Be warned though wedding venues may be booked out for Valentine’s Day weekend if they’re not already, but you can always get started on the process by scheduling your special day.
And if you haven’t asked the big question yet, Vegas definitely has its share of special proposal spots including in front of the Bellagio Water Fountains, the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign, or on top of the Stratosphere or LINQ High Roller.
