The atmosphere when you are in Downtown Las Vegas is unmatched. There is something so mesmerising about watching the lights underneath the canopy on Fremont Street, mixed with the great music. But there is also a chance you run into a few big celebrities.
For example, this past week, we were pleasantly surprised when we got a spot at the bar at Barry’s Downtown Prime. We walked in thinking we were just treating ourselves, and suddenly we were passing by Donnie Wahlberg, celebrating his new show Boston Blue with friends. But where was Jenny McCarthy?

We heard she is in the middle of filming something new in the way of a talk show/podcast. Can’t wait to see what that is all about. Either way, we know she’ll kill it! By the time we left, we saw Donnie standing up, chatting and laughing with Circa owner/CEO, Derek Stevens, talking about the show’s success.
Recently, the star power of MLB players and executives in Vegas has been unreal (adding to all the anticipated hype surrounding Las Vegas finally landing a pro baseball team). San Francisco Giants’ General Manager Zack Minasian, Sr. Advisor to the President of Baseball Operations, and VP of Baseball Analytics Paul Bien, were dining with Ian Ritchie, Founder of the Icon Racing team. Barry’s Downtown Prime was the perfect escape for the men and their wives, with Circa’s own Richard Wilk knowing Barry’s is where the sports world goes to unwind. Speaking of sports, WWE Superstar, LA Knight, made a visit to the restaurant to celebrate his birthday with friends and meet up with Chef Barry Dakake himself.

Fans went crazy from the time he walked into Circa Resort & Casino right up till he left. Fans were waiting at the exits; Vegas News was told, just to get a chance to meet their favorite WWE Star.
Just when you think the week was winding down, we witnessed Old Vegas collide with New Vegas in real time. Stephanie Rosenthal, daughter of Frank Rosenthal himself, is chatting with Derek Stevens at the Legacy Club about the movie “Casino” and the wild history her parents lived through. We can only imagine the stories being told during that conversation.

Las Vegas makes you feel like you’ve hit the celebrity jackpot, and Circa always makes YOU feel like the main character. The best part? Locals fit right into the mix. Circa has that rare vintage meets modern energy that makes every visit feel like you’ve stepped into a moment you don’t want to end. If you haven’t had a night like this downtown yet, trust us; you are overdue.
