Live from Quarantine is a virtual benefit performance that directly benefits the artists performing in it, created by Table Top Broadway‘s Ian Connor to support artists suddenly unemployed by COVID-19’s abrupt shutdown of the live entertainment industry.

The show features professional singers, dancers, musicians, comedians, actors, magicians, DJs and personalities from around the globe. In the first twelve events, Live from Quarantine raised $21,000 for its performers.

“I’m thankful to be part of this powerful movement,” says Luke Striffler from FRIENDS! The Musical Parody. “Artists from all walks of life are coming together to provide opportunities to keep the entertainment industry alive during this tough time. We will come out of this stronger than ever.”

Luke started an artistic outreach Facebook group for performers to unite and share gig information during COVID-19, where he was connected with Table Top Broadway’s Ian Connor who was looking for performers for Live from Quarantine. The Facebook group has grown to 350 members who share projects, classes and resources for their entertainment peers.
