Mermaids Return to Live Shows at the Silverton

Named “Best Free Attraction in Las Vegas,” Silverton Casino Hotel’s famous mermaids are making a splashy return to their 117,000-gallon reef aquarium on June 3, with interactive stingray feedings resuming on June 1.

Get up close and personal with thousands of tropical fish, stingrays, and sharks swimming throughout the 15-foot deep tank. Both the mermaid swims and interactive stingray feedings are free for admission.

“The stingray feedings and mermaid swims are a fan favorite at the property, so we’re beyond thrilled to bring back this unique experience for the first time in over a year,” said Ryan Ross, aquarium curator for Silverton Casino Hotel. “I can’t wait to see the mermaids in the aquarium and interacting with our guests again.”

During the interactive stingray feedings, a staff aquarist equipped with a full-face communication mask will answer guests’ questions, making it the perfect summer family activity to beat the heat and learn at the same time. These friendly feedings occur daily at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
