Dive-In Movies at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas are back – by Jennifer Durnell
The Cosmopolitan on the Las Vegas Strip is bringing back its 2020 edition of Dive In movies at the Boulevard Pool.
Each Monday night, the digital marquee at the rooftop Boulevard Pool will transform into a movie screen, showing films high above the strip. Featuring an expertly curated variety of films from summer blockbusters, campy cult standards, and old school classics. You can enjoy the film from the comfort of your lounge chair, or while taking a dip in the pool.
We are overjoyed that the Cosmopolitan decided to renew their Dive In series this summer. This social distancing-friendly activity is a unique and charming diversion that brings a much-needed semblance of normalcy back to our lives – even if it’s just temporary.
Partake in handcrafted movie-themed cocktails and snacks while you’re there. Featured drinks include: A Royale With Cheese (a modern take on the classic tiki drink, the Painkiller), The Delorean (with Aperol, Passoa Passionfruit Liqueur, and Champagne), and Nothing Shocks Me, I’m a Scientist (Skyy Cold Brew Vodka, Kahlua, Vanilla & Cold Brew Coffee).
They also offer an array of refreshing frozen cocktails if you want to escape the heat. Personal favorites are their Yes Way Frosé and Dole Whip. Seltzers and buckets of beer are also available. Snack options include chips & guacamole, mini burgers, cilantro & jalapeño hummus, buffalo style chicken tenders, and of course popcorn.
Don’t forget to save your appetite to grab a slice at Secret Pizza after the movie is over.
Admission is $7 for non-hotel guests. Complimentary entry is offered for children under 5 and active military and veterans with valid ID. Registered hotel guests and Identity members receive two free complimentary entries. You must present your room key or membership card at the entrance.
Doors open at 7 p.m. each Monday, with the movies starting at 8 p.m.
The entrance is on Level 3, via Boulevard Tower escalators.

Additional Details
- Tickets are non-refundable, rain or shine
- Guests are welcome to bring their own blankets
- Lounge seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis
- No outside food or drinks are allowed (refreshments are available for purchase)
- The pool remains open and is available for swimming and lounging during the movie
- Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian the entirety of the event
