The evening will include a red carpet welcome, cocktail reception, dinner, both silent and live auctions, as well as competitive play of Texas Hold’em. The event raises awareness and funding for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

A committee of amateur and professional poker players organized this tournament led by local business leader Tanya Amid and six-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu. Event sponsors include ChoiceCenter, NFM Lending, Shift4 Corporation, Poker Central and the Anthony Robbins Foundation.

Several celebrities and professional athletes are planning to show their support for the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by walking the red carpet and participating in the tournament alongside professional poker players. Among them will be Dan Cox, Shannon Elizabeth, Bryan Greenberg, Ryan Gonzalez, Dule Hill, Micah Johnson, Geoff Stults, Kevin Zegers and the list keeps growing.

“St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is unlike any other hospital,” said event co-chair Daniel Negreanu, six-time WSOP Champion. “Every one of us has been affected by cancer in some manner and the poker community is honored to be able to provide support to a great organization like St. Jude.”

Tournament buy-in is priced at $600 per person and tickets to the exclusive dinner are priced at $200 per person. Poker players will have the chance to win the Grand Prize: a seat in the 2017 WSOP Main Event. The second place finisher will receive a getaway to Fiji’s Namale Resort & Spa.

“We are thrilled for the continued support of Daniel and the entire poker community who make this unique and interactive fundraiser possible year-after-year,” said Bret Roy of ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “Thanks to fundraising and awareness events like this one, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.”
