ASIA Featuring John Payne, The Special EFX All Stars and Average White Band Perform at Access Showroom in February
This February, Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa will bring celebrated rock, jazz and R&B entertainers, including ASIA Featuring John Payne, The Special EFX All Stars and Average White Band, to Access Showroom. Guests can also enjoy free live entertainment all month long at Aliante’s Tuesday Sock Hops and All-Star Friday Nights.
ASIA Featuring John Payne

John Payne burst into the music scene as the front man of the supergroup ASIA in 1992. For the next 14 years, the band went on to tour around the world, performing their new classics and timeless hits. Since Payne joined the band, ASIA has released eight studio albums and several live recordings. In 2006, the band was renamed to “ASIA Featuring John Payne” and has since then been touring across North America.
The show will feature a high-energy performance of ASIA Featuring John Payne’s best-loved hits, including “Heat of the Moment,” “Don’t Cry,” “Only Time Will Tell,” “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes,” “Go” and “Days Like These.”

Formed in 1982, the contemporary jazz supergroup Special EFX All Stars has been recording and performing hits for more than 35 years. The band is made up of some of the most accomplished and daring musicians in contemporary jazz, including the acclaimed guitarist and composer Chieli Minucci, world-famous saxophonist Nelson Rangell, violinist virtuoso Karen Briggs and renowned bassist Gerald Veasley.
Most recently, Special EFX All Stars released their 21st record “Deep as the Night” in 2017, bringing audiences their melodic and
jazz sounds.

Aliante’s Sock Hop will bring guests back to the 1950s with free live entertainment and dancing, happening on Tuesdays in February from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
