Known for hosting a variety of music styles and groups, Beauty Bar Las Vegas lives up to its reputation in August as it welcomes the experimental pop-punk group, I Set My Friends on Fire, on Thursday, Aug. 2 and the Canadian folk group, Timber Timbre on Friday, Aug. 24.
I Set My Friends on Fire, an experimental rock group from Miami, Florida, will bring their “10 Years of Slaughter” tour to Beauty Bar Las Vegas and play their debut hit album “You Can’t Spell Slaughter Without Laughter” in its entirety. The band, known for their catchy melodies and noisy breakdowns that fuse electronic and aggressive rock genres together, will be joined by Annisokay and 7 Minutes in Heaven.

Timber Timbre is a folk group from Ontario, Canada, known for their cinematic and haunting sound that has been featured on television programs like Breaking Bad and The Good Wife, as well as films including The Last Exorcism Part II and The Gambler. The folk group will perform favorites from their “Out of This Spark” album, which was named a longlist nominee for the 2009 Polaris Music Prize and album of the year by Eye Weekly, as well as their most recent album, “Sincerely, Future Pollution.”
