In honor of National Roller Coaster Day, Buffalo Bill’s Resort & Casino is offering two-for-one rides on The Desperado on Aug. 16. Thrill-seekers can grab a friend or make a new one as they experience the heart-racing action of the famous coaster, which will be operating between 12:15 – 9:45 p.m.
Reaching up to 90 mph, The Desperado was nicknamed the “Speed Demon” by the Travel Channel and listed as one of the fastest roller coasters in America by USA Today’s 10Best. The slow climb toward the blue skies builds anticipation before riders are shot at breathtaking speeds through the casino and soaring high above the valley before plummeting 209 feet to the desert floor. During the stomach-wrenching fall, adventurous riders will encounter twists, turns, tunnels and spirals. The adrenaline-rushing ride lasts for nearly three minutes.
